Dr. Sandeep Bhardwaj

Biography

Dr. Sandeep Bhardwaj is a teaching faculty at VBS. He has the right mix of industry and academic experience, having worked in various managerial positions in corporates for more than 17 years and in academics for more than 12 years. His area of specialization is marketing and he has been inspiring future marketers by teaching various subjects in marketing domain. At the core, he is a ‘People’s Person’, which makes him an ideal to be part of teams and lead them. He successfully manages the intellectual resource at VBS ensuring that the objectives of the Program(s) are met to the complete satisfaction of the students through the efforts of the teaching staff.

His academic journey started with a diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Calcutta. Thereafter, he followed his passion for education by continuously learning while working. He thus completed his graduation from Mumbai University, Post-graduation(s) [MMM (Mumbai University) & MPM (Pune University)]. With a view to excel in academics, he completed his research work in Consumer Behavior for insurance in rural and urban BOP markets. He was awarded PhD for the same by Symbiosis International University. As time progressed, he himself became a PhD guide for an esteemed University in Mumbai.

From Catering to Coaching, his career spans many verticals including Administration, Sales, Marketing and Training. He has worked in reputed national and International corporates like NELCO, Camlin, and Tata Infotech. His dedication and result oriented style made him rise to the position of Head of Marketing for Global Outsourcing in Dubai, UAE. After this, he decided to focus his career in development of future leaders in management by empowering them with domain marketing skills and life skills in general. Thus, he joined Icfai National College (INC) and later shifted to VBS where he continues to work till date. Very recently, he was invited to give a lecture to the International students of Krakow University, Poland.

India is going through a churn, and Sandeep sees a great role that Education can play in fulfilling the hopes of the nation. He now wants to work towards uplifting the education by using technology to reach everyone.
