Dr. Shrinivas Repak

Biography

Dr. Shrinivas N. Repak is a distinguished academician and consultant with nearly two decades of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, transportation, materials planning, lean quality management, and vendor process optimization. He has advised organizations on building efficient logistics networks, strengthening transportation systems, and improving overall operational performance. His expertise enables businesses to enhance demand planning, cost efficiency, and process excellence.

Alongside his consulting work, Dr. Repak brings a strong academic foundation, holding a Ph.D., an MMS in Operations, and professional certifications including PMP, CPIM (APICS), CDP, and Lean Six Sigma. With over a decade of teaching experience at leading institutes such as NMIMS, JBIMS, ICT, SIMSREE, CIMR, UBS, IES, and KJIMSR, he has taught subjects including operations research, logistics and transportation management, project management, TQM, and quantitative analysis. His dual expertise as both a practitioner and educator allows him to bridge theory with practical, industry-relevant application.

Dr. Repak has conducted training programs and workshops for senior professionals and industry leaders covering Lean Management, Transportation Planning, Supply Chain Optimization, Theory of Constraints, Kaizen, and Total Quality Management. His recent assignments with Global QMS Pvt. Ltd. and VGM Consultants focused on logistics process improvement, supply chain transformation, and strategic execution, equipping leaders with actionable tools to drive operational excellence.

Recognized with multiple Certificates of Excellence, Dr. Repak has led ISO re-certification at VESIMSR and, as a lifelong member of the Institute of Materials Management, continues to contribute through research, conferences, and mentoring in logistics, transportation, and operations.
