Dr. Anupama Tiwari
Biography
Dr Anupama Tiwari has more than 13 years of rich work experience in some of the leading business schools at both graduate and post graduate level. She is a gold medalist in MBA from The University of Burdwan. She has earned her PhD in management from The University of Burdwan. Her teaching interest are in the area of Operation Management, Operation Research, Stochastic Model Building, Reliability Analysis, Supply Chain Management. She has published her research work in national and international journal of repute. Some of her prominent research work are in reliability analysis, brand management that uses optimisation technique to solve real life problems. She has presented papers in national conferences and has also chaired several sessions in conference held in IIT Delhi.
She is currently working as Associate Professor and heading Operations Department as Associate Dean - Operations with Vivekanand Education Society Business School, Chembur, Mumbai. Her responsibilities pertain to designing the course structure & syllabus for PGDM (Operations)| Organizing industry visits | Organizing Webinars and workshops for students| Inviting high-profile corporate dignitaries as well as academician for updating the syllabus, insightful lectures | Organizing experiential learning competitions for better understanding of their curriculum | Creating Operations students Cell and engaging them for better understanding of opportunities in Operations and Supply Chain industry.
Apart from this she was also Chairperson for Ranking Cell which engaged lots of activity and significantly helped maintain and build institutional position and reputation. She is currently the Chairperson for Women Development Cell and Internal Complaint Committee for girl’s students and organizes Competitions and Seminars to empower them with all know how.
