Dr. Ajay Kumar Gupta


Biography

Dr. Ajay Gupta has 29 years of diverse experience, including Indian Air Force, Banking, and Management Education. Dr. Gupta is an Erasmus Mundus Fellow from the University of Milan, Italy. He holds a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Master in Management from the Asian Institute of Management in Manila, Philippines.

Dr. Gupta has taught at T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal, an AACSB, and the prestigious Management Institute in India and currently working as a Professor and Associate Dean of Human Resource Management with Vivekananda Business School, Mumbai and Chairperson of “The Centre for Qualitative Research”. Dr. Gupta is a Professional ATLAS. ti, Senior Trainer and Consultant,https://atlasti.com/trainers, the only senior trainer in Asia-Pacific Region.

Dr. Gupta has conducted several workshops and Faculty Development Programs on Qualitative Research and Data Analysis using ATLAS.ti in many prestigious institutes like Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITE), MNNIT, Allahabad, IIM Shillong, National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT), Sydenham Institute of Management Studies and Research, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), AURO University, University of Rajasthan, Amity University, Banasthali Vidyapith, Mumbai University, Savitribai Phule Pune University, MET Institute of Management, Bank of Baroda, Apex Academy, National Law University, Delhi, and Child Rights and You etc. He has conducted a webinar invited by the University of British Columbia, Canada and delivered sessions on Qualitative Research and Data Analysis at the University of Cartagena, Spain.

Dr. Gupta is an invited faculty to teach for the Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Organisation Development and Change Management, Executive Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management, Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations, Ph.D., & MPhil program, at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and NITIE, Mumbai.

Dr. Gupta has developed a course called “Organisational Psychology” and teaches it along with Human Resource Management, Business Ethics, Leadership and Change Management, Reward Management, People Dynamics in Organisations, People Management, Organisation Theory and Design, Performance Management, Industrial Relations, Applied Economics, Qualitative Research and Business Research Methods.
