She highlights her career journey while showcasing how PGDM at Vivekanand equipped her with the analytical skills, leadership insights, and mindset to succeed globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. How did your learnings at Vivekanand shape your analytical thinking and leadership approach?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My two years in the PGDM program at Vivekanand helped me build a strong foundation in analyzing problems and making decisions with data. Group projects and case studies improved my leadership skills because I had to listen, guide discussions, and bring people together to find solutions. Subjects like Business Analytics, Business Statistics, and Strategic Management gave me the right mix of analytical and leadership skills, while hands-on projects built the confidence to apply them effectively in my global role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. Working abroad often brings new perspectives.  What cultural or professional differences stood out to you when you started working in the U.S.?<\/strong>
A.<\/strong> When I started working in the U.S., what stood out the most was the focus on work-life balance and respect for personal time. Meetings are usually very structured, with clear agendas and action items, which makes collaboration efficient. I also noticed that colleagues are very open to new ideas, no matter your position, and that encouraged me to speak up more and share my perspective confidently. This environment encouraged me to share my ideas openly and confidently and adapt to a culture of structured collaboration. I also learned the importance of time management and clear communication, which makes teams more productive and effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. For students considering a career in analytics or economic development, what advice would you give them to prepare early on?<\/strong>
A.<\/strong> Start learning how to use data tools early and practice interpreting data to tell a story. Build strong communication skills, because explaining insights clearly is just as important as finding them. Stay curious and keep up with industry trends. Developing both technical and communication skills early will help students stand out and succeed in this field. Additionally, being proactive in learning and staying updated on trends ensures they are ready to tackle real-world challenges confidently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Q. What has been the most rewarding part of your professional journey so far?<\/strong>
A.<\/strong> The most rewarding part has been seeing my work make a real difference for businesses and communities. Knowing that my analysis and projects help people grow, find opportunities, or make better decisions gives me a lot of satisfaction. Seeing my work create positive impact and help people make informed decisions is what I find most fulfilling. It\u2019s motivating to know that the skills and knowledge I gained during my PGDM at Vivekanand continue to make a difference in my day-to-day role.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
