Vivekanand PGDM Alumni Review: Ms. Rujuta Bhangaonkar’s Journey to Becoming a Financial Analyst
Ms. Rujuta Bhangaonkar, from the PGDM 2021–2023 batch, describes her journey at Vivekanand as truly transformative. Today, she applies those learnings in her role as a Financial Analyst at InSync Analytics India Pvt. Ltd. Her story highlights how guidance from experienced faculty, exposure to real-world business situations, and the dedicated support of the placement cell helped her grow into a confident professional ready to excel in the finance industry.
What follows is Ms. Rujuta’s reflection on the experiences, lessons, and people who turned her two-year PGDM journey into a steppingstone for success.

1. Which part of the PGDM journey at Vivekanand influenced you the most and why?
The part that influenced me the most was definitely the faculty. Their constant motivation, deep knowledge, and genuine desire to help students succeed made a lasting impression on me. Every professor pushed us to think critically, challenge ourselves, and aim higher. Their passion for teaching inspired me to put my best into everything I did. It wasn’t just about learning theories; it was about understanding how to apply them in real-life situations. That mindset continues to help me every day in my job.
2. How did Vivekanand prepare you for real-world challenges in your career?
The Placement Cell played a huge role in preparing us for real-world challenges. We were trained through mock interviews, group discussions, and workshops that mirrored corporate scenarios. I remember how seriously the placement team worked with each of us to make sure we were confident and industry-ready. These experiences made me comfortable handling client expectations, managing deadlines, and staying composed in high-pressure situations at work.
3. How did the faculty, placements, or industry exposure support your journey?
The support I received from the faculty and placement team was outstanding. Whenever I needed guidance, be it about academics, internships, or interviews, there was always someone ready to help. The exposure we got through guest lectures and industry sessions also helped me understand market trends and business dynamics better. Looking back, I can say that every experience contributed in some way to my personal and professional growth.
4. What are your top 3 reasons to recommend Vivekanand to future students?
If I had to recommend Vivekanand to future students, my top three reasons would be:
– The Overall Experience – From academics to placements, everything is well-structured to support students’ growth.
– The Expert Faculty – Their expertise and mentorship truly make a difference.
– The State-of-the-art facilities – The campus and facilities create a great environment for learning.
