Vivekanand PGDM Alumni Review: Ms. Jagruti Chanchlani on Confidence, Mentorship & Real-World Learning

The career of Ms. Jagruti Chanchlani, from the PGDM Batch of 2021–2023, is marked by steady growth and confidence. She is currently working as a Research and Delivery Associate at Cxsearch Global Partners and considers how her experience of studying the PGDM has changed her as an individual and a professional.

1. Which part of the PGDM journey at Vivekanand influenced you the most and why?

Frankly speaking, the internship and placement training transformed me the most. The type of care and guidance we received at the time was very significant. I was able to know how to showcase myself, communicate well and what organizations actually seek. It was an experience that made me develop as a person and in my career.

2. How did Vivekanand prepare you for real-world challenges in your career?

There was much practical training such as the live projects, case studies, industry sessions and interactive assignments. These experiences made us think differently and resolve problems in realistic manner. Therefore, by the time I got into the professional field, I was already acquainted with the type of hardships that would follow with it.

3. How did the faculty, placements, or industry exposure support your journey?

The best part of Vivekanand I remember was the expert faculty. The majority of them were Ph. D holders with solid corporate backgrounds,  and therefore, their instructions were supported with practical examples. Their experience and stories enabled us to have a glimpse of how business is actually done in reality. Secondly, the placement team helped us to go through the steps one by one since it started with resumes and proceeded to the mock interviews which made the process easy and encouraging. 

4. What are your top three reasons to recommend Vivekanand to future students?

The three things that made my journey meaningful are:

Placement Mentorship: You receive complete one-on-one guidance from the placement cell that truly helps you prepare with confidence and clarity during the placement process.

Practical Learning: There are plenty of opportunities to apply what you learn through projects and events. This constant exposure to the real world business scenarios helps you build practical clarity and prepares you to face career challenges head on.

Confidence Building: The atmosphere at Vivekanand helps you open up and become more extrovert. It builds confidence, enabling you to give your best in any work.

I am very happy to admit that my experience studying at Vivekanand resulted in me being who I am now, personally and professionally. I will therefore suggest Vivekanand to every aspiring management student.
